So far there are no skin walkers in the books.

Sam Merlotte

True Blood

Sam is clearly trying to start some kind of romantic relationship with Luna Garza.

Book

Luna is a minor character that Sookie meets in Texas in the book, Living Dead in Dallas.  For that reason Sam hasn’t met her yet.

I would love to hear how you feel about the changes.  Are there any changes the show made that you wished happened in the book?  Are there any changes you hated?

Transforming True Blood

By Megan Nafke

It amazes me how much the show has differed from the storylines in the book.  Some of the changes I have really loved, like how Jason character has grown from a selfish boy to a caring adult.   In fact, I didn’t like him in the books until recently.  There are some changes I don’t like at all.  I loved the sweet natured girl that Tara was in the books.  She had a horrible childhood, but she managed to grow up and own her own shop and have a family with JB.  In the show, I don’t like how negative and aggressive she is.  She is just so loving in the books, and yet in the show she pushes people away sometimes for no reason.  I would like her character more if they gave her another name. I don’t see a reason for changing a character that much.  But that’s just me.

After watching the first two episodes in season 4 I decided to start listing the changes the show is making after viewing each one again.

I would love to hear how you feel about the changes.  Are there any changes the show made that you wished happened in the book?  Are there any changes you hated?
